In 1986, Bernard Yot designed Talisman, inspired by in the Art Deco style. Unlike any other collection, Talisman is a part of Christofle’s bespoke service.
THE PROCESS
Christofle begins the process by stamping the flatware in the chosen metal. After sandblasting, lacquer is applied in an 18-step process by hand. This tedious and careful process helps make Talisman solid and resistant. The flatwares’ handles are coated with lacquer and then polished. The brightness of the design amplifies the saturation of the chosen color.
